  The Car Accident Story
On this afternoon at 4:45pm, Roger Clementine, 13, crashed into John Jacob Jingleheimer- Smith, 91& his wife Melba Jingleheimer- Smith, 67.

"He came out at us from nowhere, John tried to swerve out of the way, but he was coming at us too quickly." Melba states.

Clementine's car only experienced a dented fender, while John's car was totaled. Clementine was traveling at 60 miles per hour on the wrong side of the road. John was only traveling at 10 mph, and his car did not stand a chance.

"Right after we made sure everything was ok, and there were no more people in the car, a tow truck came and hauled Mr. Jingelheimer's car away to the junk yard. There was so much damage, it couldn't have been fixed," Cop Steve Michael states.

John is currently in the hospital due to a severe head injury caused by the crash. He is in serious condition and more updates will be given at a later time.

"When we evaluated John after the accident, we could tell he had a serious injury to his head. He was sitting in the driver's seat which was where most of the damage to the car was located," Paramedic Steven Walter said.

Clementine was cited for driving without a license, speeding, and driving in the wrong lane. All people involved in the crash were from Austin. The weather had been sunny and the roads were not slick leaving little reason behind Clementine's erratic driving.

"He [Clementine] was swerving from lane to lane going well above the speed limit. I pulled over for the safety of myself and my children," Mother of 3 Julia Young said.
