The Big Day Story & Interview
The Big Day Story
Sophia Cooper got married to John Smith at a small chapel Dulcinea in Oakland, California. The wedding took place on October 23, 2017. This wedding was kept to 100 guests, Sophia Cooper had decided to keep the wedding small. The wedding took an unsteady turn when Brad Smith interrupted Sophia and John's wedding."I was shocked when I heard the door open, and in the middle of the ceremony? Who does that? I understood there had been something between Cooper and Brad, but I assumed that was over, for obvious reasons." Groom John stated.
Brad and John are brothers, and while Brad had been invited to the wedding, he had slept through his alarm and woke up late. He tried to get to the chapel on time, but did not succeed.
"I thought I was going to be able to get to her before the wedding started. She needed to hear what I had to say. My information was important, it would have changed everything." Brad states.
Brad had information, but stated that it was not about his past relationship with the bride Sophia, contrary to that believed by almost every guest at the wedding. Brad did state that John had cheated on her 1 year ago. Sophia wanted to make sure everything was in place before the wedding started.
"I had to make sure everything from the food, to the music the guests would listen to was absolutely perfect. Then Brad had to come and ruin it. I spent hours making sure I did not miss anything. He is so selfish, he shouldn't have even been invited in the first place." Sophia states.
When asked about why he did not share the information sooner, Brad Cooper said that since he knew that Sophia was such a perfectionist, he didn't actually think the wedding would happen. This has upset his family and brother even more. His original intentions were to keep the peace, and just do the right thing, but now realizes that he should have kept quite.
"To be quite honest, I know how controlling Sophia is, and I was not sure if she was going to call off the wedding. There would not have been any need to tell her the information if the wedding hadn't happened. I didn't want to add anymore fuel to the fire." Smith states.

I knew we had invited John's brother, and that he had not shown up yet. I was nervous because he always has to do something to get people's attention and was not sure what that would have been.
