I was very excited to learn that one of my students had won.
2. What were your initial thoughts when you found out?
My initial thoughts were that I was excited for them.
3. Were you surprised? Why or why not?
I was not surprised since I knew this child deserved to win.

I believe if the student tries hard again then they will win next month.

I am very proud of my child for winning this award.

I was happy for them because they deserved to win.

My initial reaction was excitement for them.

They have participated in many more extracurriculars since winning this award.

I don't feel differently toward them since they won because they are the same person since winning.
