My Top Story of the Century

1. Women Win the Right to Vote:
In 1920 Women finally won the right to vote in elections. Before this amendment, women were not allowed to vote for anything. The 19th amendment changed that and gave them more rights men had.















2. Scientist Clone Sheep in Great Britain, 1997
In 1997, scientist were able to succesfully clone the first mammal. This was a major advance in science. She lived for more than 7 months.














3. United States Enters World War 1, 1917
When the United States entered World War 1, it sparked lots of controversy. Some people were for the war saying it needed to be done, and others were very against it.  2 million soldiers fought and it lasted for 4 years.
