Long Answers:
1. Google created the first self-driving car. This car was the first to drive itself on a public road without help, and it could provide more freedom to those who are disabled. This was a large step in the world of self-driving cars.
2. Some people that would benefit from self-driving cars are people who are visually impaired, or elderly people that can no longer drive anymore. This would help them go places and not have to rely on other people to travel. Other people who would benefit from these cars are people who experience road rage, this is because many deaths occur when people get mad behind the wheel. If you take the wheel from the people who get mad, they cannot kill anybody.
3. I believe I would feel safe around other cars that are driven by machines. I think I would feel relatively comfortable, because unlike people, machines only follow the set of instructions given to them. I think that the machines would be programmed to make sure they are safe, and will have had lots if testing done on them to make sure that they stay that way.
4. Once driverless cars are perfected, I think the next big tech innovation for transportation would be would be a larger version of the self driving car, like a city bus. I believe this because the self driving cars today are made for at most 4 other people. The next step in transportation would be to put this on a larger scale with buses.
