Front Pages of the World


  1. What is your favorite newspaper front page? Why? 
My favorite newspaper was 20 Minutes published in Paris, France. This is because instead of being covered with text, the majority of the magazine is pictures with some text, but not lots that are explaining the picture. 

     2. What is your favorite headline from that newspaper? Why are you interested in it? 
"School shooting puts pressure on Florida lawmakers to act" is my favorite headline. I am interested in it because it talks about something that happened recently that was very tragic. I also like it because it shows that people are waiting on the Florida lawmakers to take action to prevent other events like the one that occurred in Florida to happen. 
     3. How many stories are on the front page of your favorite? 
Most of the stories on the front I just didn't care for because they did not entertain me. About two on each cover I liked because I could understand what they were talking about and the subject that they were talking about. 

     4 .What do you notice that all newspaper front pages have in common? Look at design, size of photos, size of story text, etc.
Most newspapers follow the picture with lots of text surrounding the picture. They commonly have small sized text and large headlines. The tex wraps around the pictures. 
     5.What are things that vary (or are different) on the front pages of different newspapers? Look at design, size of photos, size of headlines, etc. 
I noticed that some newspapers had more pictures on their front cover than others. I also noticed that some front covers kept the pictures small and focused on the text and other focused more on the pictures. While they still focused on the words, the pictures were more enticing and larger.
