One plan Raymund Paredes hopes to push through the state legislature is a financial incentive for public universities. This incentive would give $500 to the school for each student that graduates. At risk students would allow the school to receive $1,000. He hopes to push this incentive plan because it would give reason for schools to become invested in their students. It would also make sure that at-risk students were being given proper treatment and extra care.

A.I believe that college is something that is very important. I believe that it prepares you for a succesful future better than most other paths. I believe that college is also a way to further educate yourself and I enjoy learning. I plan to enroll directly into a college.
B. I think that directly enrolling into college is a good way to have a plan for a career and actively be taking steps to reach that career.
C. Other areas of society are being impacted when you push students to directly enroll in college. But, these areas of society that are affected do not have to be negative. Communities receiving new citizens every year helps to increase diversity and strengthen the workforce.
D. I believe that there are careers where you can live a comfortable life without a college degree. However, I think that these careers are riskier and are not certain to work out.
E. I think that workforce certifications are seen as less important in society. People believe that going to the military instead of getting a degree is considered the "easy way out" in society. Personally, I do not believe this, but it is widely believe to be true in society
F. I have not considered possible jobs that do not require a college degree. This is because my family has brought me up in a very strict way. It is expected that I will graduate from high school and get a degree in college. I also think the reason I have not considered a job that does not require a degree is because there is a lack of stability in these jobs.
