4. High Points: It's not a remake of Jumanji (1995), the movie is funny and entertaining.
5. Low Points: Could have pushed boundaries by making the movie look more graphic, or put the setting in different places.
6. "The movie has amusingly broad performances; good, bloodless scares (the characters die horribly — but have multiple lives); and self-empowering life lessons too bland to be specious. "
