Car Raid Story By: Grace Youngblood Driving a grey used 2014 Mercedes e350, Lynda Savoca talks about the thought and process that went into purchasing a car. Savoca, 42, keeps her car very clean and organized. There are no signs of old food containers, and there is little amounts of trash. “I enjoy having a clean car. I think that this is because it helps keep an organized and keep me focused,” Savoca said. She has two children who play lots of sports. These sports require gear that takes up the car. The families schedule can be taken up by these sports and other activities, leaving little amounts of time for the car to get cleaned. “I have two kids who are both involved in multiple sports. It can be difficult to keep my car clean since we can get a pretty hectic schedule,” Savoca said. Lynda needed a car that could keep up with her hectic, busy schedule. The detective saw his opportunity. He grabbed the waitresses arm and said “You’re coming with me”. For 10 years he had been tracking down the illusive group of credit card thieves. At first it started out with one person, Camille Scott,  reporting that her credit card had been stolen. It then escalated to ten, twenty, all the way up to thirty within the past year in the small town of Gatesville. Thirty out of the total 1,000 citizens had reported credit card theft. With no motivation, the police department was taking in complaints about the card theft. They were taking forever to process the complaints, and said there was nothing they could do about the thefts. Citizens were getting fed up, the problem was only getting worse. The people of Gatesville took the situation into their own hands, they hired a private investigator, Carl Jennings.
