1. The lead in a hard news piece includes most of the who, what, when, where, or why. But, the feature writing lead set up the story and gave a little bit of information to draw the reader in. The important information is not given up front in a feature writing piece. 2. The Golden Voice

Ted Williams current situation has greatly improved from what it was six years ago. After the video got more than 11 million views, he got many job offers from businesses such as Kraft and others. He met with his mother after not seeing her for a very long time. Although he became affiliated with drugs after his rise to fame, he is now sober again. He also worked for Pepsi, reciting their slogans in 2016. After that, he got a job working as a radio host at the radio station, WWGH-FM. In a recent interview, he credited his success and motivation to an act of God. He still gives out socks to the homeless through an ongoing project. He is giving out socks because being in and out of prison, that is the one thing that he missed and did not have most often. He is enjoying his life now, and has a steady income and a job. He has made the best of his situation throughout the years, and now enjoys being able to relax. He still tries to give back to the community that helped him get back on hi...

The man who played the violin

1.  Do we perceive beauty? I believe all people are capable of perceiving beauty. I believe we are able to recognize beauty, but have trouble to truly appreciate it. 2.  Do we stop to appreciate it? I don't think most of us will stop and appreciate beauty. One of the reasons I think this is because of the article and video we watched this class. Very few people stopped and took time to appreciate the work of a child prodigy. I believe children can appreciate beauty, but as we grow older, we stop appreciating it. 3.  Do we recognize the talent in an unexpected context? I think that if we take the time, we are able to recognize talent in an unexpected context. If we do not take a moment in the day to stop and look at our surroundings, lots of stuff can be missed. People can recognize talent in an unexpected context if we choose to take a moment to. If we do not have a moment to stop and listen to one of the best musicians in the world playing the best music ever writt...
