Citizens were getting fed up, the problem was only getting worse. The people of Gatesville took the situation into their own hands, they hired a private investigator, Carl Jennings. Movie Review Preview

1.  Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle is good, clean fun 2.  David Edelstein 3. I would grade the review at a 9. 4. High Points: It's not a remake of Jumanji (1995), the movie is funny and entertaining. 5. Low Points: Could have pushed boundaries by making the movie look more graphic, or put the setting in  different places. 6.   " The movie has amusingly broad performances; good, bloodless scares (the characters die horribly — but have multiple lives); and self-empowering life lessons too bland to be specious.  " 1.  A wrinkle in time: special effects distract from a heroine whose time has come 2.  ALEXANDRA MACAARON 3. I would give the review a 8. 4. High Points: The movie included p.o.c. and had a very large budget. 5. Low Points: Too many special effects were used to distract from the overall story of the movie, it is scary for kids. 6. " The problem is that as big and bedazzled (we’ll address that a little later) as Winfrey is, ...
